Company History

In 1873, the Rubberset Company opened its first factory in Newark, New Jersey.  This is where Rubberset patented the “Genuine Rubberset Process” in 1878. The company continued to innovate and develop unique products such as the pad painters and edgers and trimmers, which became the Quick Solutions line of products.

In 1969, Joseph Lieberman and Sons acquired Bestt Rollr and became Bestt Liebco®, a full-line paint applicator company. In 1983, the three brothers sold Bestt Liebco to RAF Industries, a private investment firm. In 1988, RAF sold Bestt Liebco and Purdy (acquired in 1994) to Bessemer holdings. Bessemer created Paint Sundry Brands, and in 1999, added Warren Applicators to the family.  In 2006, Bestt Liebco acquired the Quick Solutions line of products from Rubberset, with the idea to create a separate brand of innovative applicators designed for do-it-yourself homeowners.

In 2004, Sherwin Williams Corporation purchased Paint Sundry Brands from Bessemer Holdings. At the time, Paint Sundry Brands included Purdy, Symphony (now Symphony by Purdy), Bestt Liebco and Quick Solutions by Bestt Liebco brands.

Quick Solutions offers a line of pad painters, texture rollers, roller covers, trim and edge tools, mini-kits and artist brushes.
