Pad Painters

Pad painters work with all types of paints. Quick Solutions offers pads designed for interiors, exteriors and decks/fences. The package will indicate which pad to select for your project. In addition, select the size that matches your project --- large pad painters 7”-9” for walls, floors, ceilings, decks and exterior walls or small pads 3”-4” for doors, trim and tight areas. 

Quick Solutions also offers different pad designs…a 4” pad painter with handle and another with palm grip, and the 2-wheel pad edger. Choose the one that you think will be easiest to use.

Roller Covers

Roller covers are designed for specific surfaces.  

For interior projects, drywall is the primary type of surface for walls and ceilings in new construction or remodeling projects. Older homes may have plaster walls and ceilings.  Doors, windows, trim and cabinets are typically comprised of wood or other composite materials. Basement or garage floors are made of concrete.

Most of these interior surfaces are smooth or relatively smooth. Many roller covers will work with these surfaces. Look at the package for words like Very Smooth, Smooth and Semi-Smooth. Foam is great for smooth surfaces.  The slit foam also works well on acoustic tiles and slightly textured surfaces.

However, if you are painting surfaces that feel extremely rough to the touch, select roller covers with a Semi-Rough to Rough designation to be sure you have the right tool. 

For exterior projects, siding and trim is often made of wood, fiber cement and aluminum.  Decking and fencing is made of wood or composite material.  Other exterior surface types include stucco, dryvit and pre-cast concrete.  Many of these painting surfaces feel rougher to the touch, so select Semi-Rough to Rough roller covers to be sure you have the right tool.

Mini-Rollers

Mini-rollers are perfect for trim, doors, cabinets and other small or hard-to-reach areas. Our premium mini-rollers are made out of woven material that is virtually shed-free. Every thread that makes up the face fabric is locked to the back of the fabric. These rollers are recommended for doors, paneling and smooth walls.

We also offer foam mini-rollers. These yellow foam roller covers are intended for use with most coatings. Foam roller covers will not leave lint or stipple behind. They are ideal for extremely smooth surfaces.

Trimmers/Edgers

These tools are ideal for small areas such as window ledges, baseboards, trim and tight areas.  These tools typically work with all types of surfaces and all types of paint.
